About the Program

The Flood Forecasting Division offers internship opportunities to students from universities and institutes across Pakistan. Interns work alongside expert meteorologists, hydrologists, and GIS specialists on real operational data.

Internships typically run for 4–12 weeks during summer or winter breaks. Upon successful completion, interns receive an official certificate from FFD.

Frequently Asked Questions

Students enrolled in a recognized university or institute with a letter of recommendation from their institution.
FFD internships are currently unpaid, but interns receive an official certificate and valuable experience.
Internships typically range from 2 to 16 weeks depending on your university requirements.
You will need a recommendation letter from your institute and your CNIC / B-Form.
After completing your internship, log in to the portal, go to Certificate Request, and submit the required details. Staff will review and issue the certificate.
Yes, you may apply for a second internship in a different department if your first internship is complete and certified.
